Knockburn Loch - Travel Advice

The B974 in currently closed at the Feugh Bridge at Strachan.

This will NOT affect you if are travelling from the south via Fettercairn (Cairn o'Mount road), because you turn right at the road closure point, although there may be signs en-route to the Cairn o'Mount warning of the road closure at Strachan. It does not affect you if you are travelling via Stonehaven either.

If you are planning to travel via Banchory, you will need to take the following route from the centre of Banchory:
1. Head south on B974/Dee St. Continue to follow B974 for 0.5 miles
2. Turn left over Bridge of Feugh
3. Take the 1st right immediately after crossing the Bridge of Feugh
4. Continue for 2.3 miles (this is a narrow winding road - bear right at fork 1.3 miles along this road)
5. Turn left at T junction
6. Continue for 1.0 miles
7. Knockburn Loch is on your right
