well done tom and the gang for today. a great race and a really good course despite all the hassle in the build up and the snow.Grant t - sbc
Yep, big thanks to all involved, setting up at 8am in -5'C, standing around all day and clearing up at 4pm still in sub zero temps.Well done to the riders too for turning up (some in shorts) and making it the great day it was.Graeme C
Put my head down for a nap at 6.30pm and woke up at 7.30pm this morning! (sunday). What a week.I'd like to thank everyone for turning up yesterday and making the event a great experience for the riders. Not seen as much snow at a cross event for years but just goes to show you can get a course from anything nature throws at you. In no particular order, members of VC Glasgow South, VC Astar, Glenmarnock, all race officials and the Army Cadets and SC coaches and officers. Even SC President Alastair McLellan who was in town made the effort to come across watch, talk and hand out prizes. Keith Murray rode the senior event and for those who don't now him is on the British Cyclo-Cross Commission, so more support coming from that quarter.Hope to see some of you at Bradford next month and good luck for next weeks Championship at Irvine.
