Haugh+Cross 2015 - Aberdour

The traditional Scottish CX Season Opener (July 31st and August 1st 2015) has been announced today and here’s what the organisers have to say:
HAUGH+CROSS – in association with Ronde Bicycle Outfitters and META - is back with what is Scotland’s original summer Cross event.  For 4 years now we have been bringing you this summer cyclocross race.  With the new partnership with META it’s promised to bring HAUGH+CROSS to a whole new level of cyclocross competition and racing fun.  Spectators can enjoy racing of all abilities, from the best in the country to absolute beginners.  The race will draw in top riders from across the region; race format will consist of two separate races across the day – the morning race as qualifying where you can expect the usual cyclocross shenanigans, with the finals on Saturday evening.
Ronde Bicycle Outfitters, Shimano, LAZER, Genesis, Ridley and Mule Bar will be on hand with a selection of merchandise, clothing and accessories to satisfy your Cross itch! Race commentators will battle to make themselves heard over the ding-a-ling of cowbells – spot prizes will be presented to the noisiest supporters.  For those wanting to refine their Cross skills, there will be Cross Clinic available to 30 people on the Friday evening.
This years cyclocross bonanza will be complimented by a cross coaching clinic on Friday 31st July led by Scottish National Cross Champion and British Elite Mountain Biker Rab Wardell and Multi British Cyclocross champion Hugo Robinson (Neon Velo).
Join us for a day of highly charged cyclocross racing and much more. Experience the cheer of the crowd, and the ringing of cowbells. Spectators can enjoy racing of all abilities, from the best the UK has to offer to absolute beginners.
Following the cyclocross a family ceilidh will take place in the Festival Marquee. Entry for spectators is FREE but all donations towards the costs for this exceptional event will be gratefully received.  We’ll have our beer tent serving the area’s finest local brews, BBQ and other suitably heart-warming fare.
We hope to see you all there racing and having some summer cross fun or with your best and biggest cowbells supporting the event…

Thanks for pointing this out. The Cross Clinic will be held on July 31st and the racing takes place on Aug 1st. Dates are shown in the More Details link at the bottom, but I've updated the post to show where and when.

Your location map is actually pin pointed at Fox Lake rather than Silversands.
